On this day 19 March 1860, which was a Monday, Charles Charlesworth and Agnes Swettenham were married in St Margaret's, Wolstanton, Staffordshire.
Agnes is my 4th great aunt.
Rupert and Elizabeth (Kent) Swettenham are the parents of Agnes and my 4th great grandparents.
The transcription reads:
Charles Charlesworth, bachelor, cordwainer, residing in Black Bull.
Father: James Charlesworth, stonemason
Agnes Petts, widow, residing in Black Bull. Father: Rupert Swetnam, labourer
Witnesses: Samuel Oakes and William Miller (relationship to couple is not known)
Agnes previously married William Petts on 20 April 1846 and he died in November 1846.
Agnes died in November 1874, age 51.
