Abraham Hemmings (1850-1913)


Abraham Hemmings (1850-1913) is my 4th great grandfather. He was born in about August 1850 in Nantwich, Cheshire to John and Sarah (Rhead) Hemmings and was baptized on 1 September 1850 at St Michael’s Church, Crewe. John’s occupation is given as labourer.

I am descended through:
*      his daughter, Clara Ann Hemmings (1878-1967) who married John Meakin (1880-1917)
*      their daughter, Brenda Meakin (1912-1982) who married Eric Hooley (1908-1992)
