William Hooley (1816-1891) is my 3rd great grandfather.

*      their daughter, Sheila Hooley, who married John Stanton Wain

1817 - from 1861 census

1820 - from 1871 census

1821 - from 1841 census

1816

William was baptised on 11 August 1816 in St Michael, Macclesfield, Cheshire to Jonathan and Sarah Hooley, this gives their residence as Sutton and the occupation of Jonathan as Twister.

There is a another baptism for William Hooley on 22 April 1821, in the same church, also to Jonathan and Sarah Hooley, but their residence is given as Hurdsfield and Jonathan's occupation as Stone Mason, that is why I am sure that the first is correct.
